Acute Pain

Acute Pain

Acute pain is a sudden, sharp sensation that acts as a warning signal from your body to indicate injury or tissue damage. It typically lasts for a short period, ranging from a few minutes to not more than three months, depending on the cause. Acute pain triggers the nervous system, which sends signals from the affected area to the brain. This pain is protective, helping you avoid further harm by encouraging rest or treatment. Once the underlying issue heals, the pain usually subsides. Common causes include injuries, surgery, or illnesses like infections or inflammation.

For these conditions we can perform local infiltrations to ensure rapid recovery and restoration of normal function.
